Brent Foster



Originally from Mentor, Ohio, bassoonist Brenton Foster is a current fellow at the New World Symphony in Miami Beach, Florida. While in high school, Mr. Foster studied with Barrick Stees of The Cleveland Orchestra. He then went on to study with Judy LeClair at The Juilliard School where he earned both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees. Following his time at Juilliard, Mr. Foster earned an orchestral performance diploma from the Manhattan School of Music. Since 2012, he has been a regular substitute with the New York Philharmonic and has appeared on Live From Lincoln Center.
